1.PTFE -coated o-rings
From viton / silicone rubber and teflion fep / pfa two materials combine with ordinary apron and pure tefion o -ring seal and long life unmatched especially for demanding medium

Overcoat teflon fep / teflon pfa o -ring having a good anti- swelling resistance and chemical stability ( unless subject to alkali metal halide , and some erosion of fluorine at elevated temperatures ) in the vicinity of the rubber o -rings have good flexibility , teflon fep / teflon pea friction coefficient is very small ( only 0.1-0.2 ) , and has excellent gas permeation resistance , these properties make chem-ring seals can really be applied to harsh environments .
Are no seams and dense surface of teflon fep / teflon outer layer combined with pfa rubber core makes chem-ring seal sealing the overall consistency , elasticity and compression seals at various points uniformly continuous pressure after still under the effect of repeated installation , with increasing media pressure , the whole ring is compressed . chem-ring seals as a high- viscosity liquids , will have no effect on reducing the pressure to pass out in all directions .

7.Installation Notes chem-ring seals
1)the installation or by chem-ring seal parts required to be smooth , no glitches, the roughness grooves and sharp corners , the hole should reach 20 mil , rough shaft should reach 10 mil .
2 )with a clean light oil or grease to lubricate chem-ring seals and other parts of the contact surface .
3 )if the chen-ring seal mounted on the shaft is difficult , it can be immersed in hot water for a few minutes so that it expands , and this expansion of the softened easier o -ring during installation . This o-ring is installed in the hot, cool down and so has returned to its original size .
4 )do not be too severe bending chen-ring o -ring , otherwise it will cause wrinkles and affect the use of teflon . Installation compression chen-ring seal requirements are as follows : static sealing state : 15% -25 % dynamic seal status : 8% -15 % air sealed state : 7% -8%
